Requirements

  • A food enthusiast with 1+ year of experience in a food service setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Passionate about creating high-quality meals with a focus on safety and detail.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality meals in accordance with approved menus, demonstrating consistency, skill, and attention to detail.
  • Properly receive, label, store, and rotate food products to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen, including all work areas and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and dietary team members to support smooth daily operations.
  • Secure the kitchen at the conclusion of service, ensuring all equipment is properly shut down and areas are locked.
  • Accurately record food temperatures and complete required logs and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents by delivering meals that support comfort, nutrition, and overall well-being.
