About The Position

CareOne is seeking a Cook to join its Culinary Arts team. The company believes in making the dining experience both healthy and enjoyable for residents through its signature dining program, which includes personalized menu choices and tableside cooking. The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established policies and procedures, and as directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. CareOne's mission is to define excellence within the health care community, dedicated to maximizing patient outcomes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Prepare food in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare food as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services.
  • Assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
