Patriots Glen is looking for a Full-Time Cook to join their close-knit Assisted Living Community in the Lake Hills of Bellevue!! Requirements

Washington State Food Handlers Permit Required (can obtain when hired)
CPR/First Aid required
1 Year Experience
Obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Handler’s Permit.
Must be dependable
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
Must possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices and special diets
Must be able to work in Bellevue, WA
At least 1 year of experience working in a food service setting.
Ability to follow recipes, read instructions and communicate in English
Have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude working with a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of fresh meals based on daily menus and the dietary needs of residents.
Interact with residents on a daily basis to ascertain their views, suggestions and concerns on meals served at the direction of Food Service Director.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized and fully stocked.
Properly store, label and rotate food to maintain quality and safety standards
Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.
Support teammates to keep the kitchen running effective and positively.
Take pride in every plate that is sent out to ensure mealtime is a highlight for residents.
