About The Position

Manito Tap House is currently hiring full and part time cook positions. Manito Tap House is a locally owned gastropub. We want to be our neighbors' favorite place to eat, drink, and gather. We are looking for staff that... have a desire to support out mission love beer and/or want to serve stellar beer enjoy providing the best food and beverage experience to our customers We are dedicated to supporting our local community. We pride ourselves on scratch made recipes and unique food. We feature an assortment of gluten friendly, vegetarian and vegan options. We offer fifty tap handles with an emphasis on craft beer.

Requirements

Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
Two (2) years previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced environment preferred
Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
Ability to multitask efficiently
Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Responsibilities

Follow all policies and procedures
On time and attend all meetings
Stock and set up kitchen stations
Ensure that all food products and menu items meet company recipe specifications for preparation, quality and preparation
Work with front of house staff to ensure that orders are completed according to food & service standards and on time
Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues
