About The Position

Mother Angeline McCrory Manor is a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. They have provided spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. The organization is looking to hire a Full-Time Cook, emphasizing that caring for someone is a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience required.
• Must be able to understand, read & write English.
• Must pass background check (after Job Offer).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that established Infection Control practices are maintained.
• Prepare food, as needed, in a nutritional, appetizing fashion and present in a caring manner.
• Operate equipment: toaster, steam line, plate warmer, dishwasher, coffee maker.
• Record refrigerator/freezer & dishwasher temperatures.
• Label & date foods for proper storing.
