More about our team We are a Primary Care office, Family Practice in Meyersdale PA. This particular position will be primarily for our Telephone Triage. Answering incoming calls from patients regarding test results, problems, giving medical advice, and will also be trained to room for a provider, to give injections, perform EKGs, and perform other nursing duties. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Ability to be ServSafe Certified within 3 months of hire.
  • Also, must re-certify every 3 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Two Years experience in food services hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, seasons, and cooks food for patients, staff, visitors, and special functions
  • Reviews menus to determine types and quantities of food needed
  • Prepares quality food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements
  • Coordinates timing of preparation in order to meet service schedules for patients, staff and visitors
  • Adheres to standardized recipes and portion control to prevent food waste and control food cost
  • Provides maintenance and sanitation of equipment in food production areas
  • Adheres to sanitation and food safety standards (HACCP)
  • Participates in the process of ordering supplies
  • Gives direction to personnel assisting in food preparation
  • Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patients in performance of duties and responsibilities
  • Orients and mentors new staff members
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary
