Requirements

  • Skillfully apply culinary techniques
  • Ability to identify and safely use kitchen equipment
  • Solid knowledge of food products
  • Ability to restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • Ability to properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
  • Ability to assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
  • Solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to assist guests needs and inquiries
  • Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a cook
  • 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a similar resort setting

Responsibilities

  • Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
