About The Position

Under general supervision, the Cook plans and prepares meals for Watershed Crew, orders needed supplies and cleans kitchen and dining areas.

• Working towards or completed high school diploma, or GED.
• Three (3) months’ experience cooking for a group, planning meals and purchasing food and kitchen supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares three (3) meals a day during weekdays for a crew of up to ten (10).
• Plans menus and prepares a food list for weekly supply pick-up.
• Purchases food and kitchen supplies.
• Monitors and tracks food and kitchen supply expenditures.
• Cleans kitchen and dining area, including washing dishes, pots and pans, mopping floors, and wiping tables.
• Performs related duties as required to meet the needs of the city.
• Knows and complies with all city and department policies and participates in professional trainings and development.
