About The Position

Bear Creek Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Cook to help prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in food preparation and understands the importance of consistency and safety in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience strongly preferred (healthcare or institutional setting a plus)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Ability to meet health, background, and screening requirements
• Weekend availability required (not every weekend)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements

• Assist with inventory, food storage, and temperature logs
• Work collaboratively with dietary aides and leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned
