The Cook prepares food according to selected menus, approved recipes, and production sheets, with knowledge of quantity cooking. This role involves completing food item preparation in a timely manner, ensuring all foods meet required cooking temperatures, and utilizing creativity in garnishing, decorating, and developing new recipes under the direction of the manager. The Cook must comply with stringent health, sanitation, safety, HACCP, and food handling standards, and adhere to quality and cost containment standards.
