Requirements

Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Prior kitchen experience a big plus.
Proficient in written and verbal English.
Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the older adult population.
Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all prospects, residents, visitors, team members and the overall community.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces, storage containers and cooking equiptment
