The Cook is responsible for the delivery of food services to Centre clients. Duties include stocking and maintaining a continental breakfast and preparing and serving lunch and evening meals from an approved menu, ensuring that all food is properly labeled and stored, and ensuring that the kitchen and storage areas meet the guidelines and standards for cleanliness as outlined in the regulatory statutes, contracts, and FDA Food Code. As an employee of Centre, you will receive ongoing training in Core Correctional Practices, Motivational Interviewing, Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention, and numerous other areas that will allow you to develop the skills and confidence needed to become a successful professional in the field.
