About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is seeking a professional and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team to work on an as needed basis! As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, quality control, kitchen sanitation, and collaboration with our kitchen team.

Requirements

• Cooking and Food Service experience is required.
• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent - Experience in lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.
• Cook experience required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and culinary techniques
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the established standards
• Ensure that all operations in the kitchen comply with the food safety and sanitation standards and policies set by the chef and the state.
