About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Cook to join our restaurant and bar team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys preparing high-quality dishes, and takes pride in contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects, including overhead lifting
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • ServeSafe or California Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen techniques
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Friendly, professional, and collaborative demeanor
  • Ability to work standing for duration of shift

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper temperatures
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, serving areas, and storage containers to ensure safe food-handling practices
  • Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and track inventory to maintain quality standards
  • Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is organized and ready for service
