About The Position
As a Cook at Brookdale, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus. Your prior experience with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware will be essential as you utilize your knowledge of cooking procedures and methods, including grilling, baking, and boiling. This position requires adherence to all sanitation and food safety standards, ensuring that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and organized manner. You will be responsible for preparing food in a timely manner, aligning with specified meal times to ensure that residents receive their meals promptly and efficiently.
