About The Position

As a Cook, you will perform culinary duties and always maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area/environment. To ensure our guests receive the highest quality of food, taste, and presentation, you will prepare food according to specifications and stock, and keep the kitchen and all areas clean. You will ensure that the food area is kept clean and stored properly at the end of each shift according to health specifications. Additionally, you will ensure that food items are ticketed and dated with the employee's name to ensure freshness and that stocked items are received and accounted for. You will wash all work areas, including the refrigerator and utensils used, and keep trash and boxes broken down and moved to their proper area. You will stock all foods in the cooler and proper shelves to meet department of health regulations, record and report all lost food due to spoiling and overproduction, and assist in stewarding duties such as washing pots, pans, kitchen utensils, serving bowls, serving dishes, and kitchen equipment. Upholding a sanitary, organized, and safe kitchen working area and environment is crucial, and you will help conduct inventory when necessary, especially on high-cost items.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete work orders, handle multiple tasks, take direction, prioritize assignments, and complete tasks
  • Basic computer skills
