About the position
Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team! The Hendricks Community Hospital Association is looking for a cook/prep cook to join our team. Cooks are responsible for preparing meals for our residents, patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepares all food items for patients, residents and staff.
- Prepares special diets as needed based on the guidelines of the therapeutic menu.
- Assumes responsibility for correct diet implementation.
- Meets standards established by appropriate leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
- Delivers all products according to time schedule set for the specific item.
- Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
- Responsible for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
