About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full time COOK SUPERVISOR position at Missouri Delta Medical Center. This role involves directly supervising food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a culinary setting.
• Strong culinary experience (non-fast food restaurant, healthcare, LTC).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises food-service associates.
• Trains employees and plans, assigns, and directs work.
• Appraises performance and rewards and disciplines associates.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy.
• Maintains established food rotations in storage to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Helps serve meals and remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
