About The Position
Under the direction of the Head Cook or Site Manager, the Cook is responsible for some aspects of the nutrition service provided by the agency. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The Cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud. This Job Description is intended to be somewhat general in nature with respect to the job family, and as such it does not detail all duties of a particular job assignment.
