About The Position

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Cook PRN to join their team. This position involves preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of food items while following menus, recipes, and production sheets. The Cook will maintain a clean and sanitary work area and communicate with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes. The role requires adherence to HACCP/food safety guidelines and participation in training to further develop within the industry.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in quantity cooking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities.
• Follow menus, recipes, and production sheets.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Communicate with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes.
• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines and policies.
• Utilize proper equipment to produce standard recipes.
• Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values.
• Participate in training with other members of the production staff.
