Responsible for preparing meals for patients on both regular and modified diets. Also, food items for the cafeteria. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all foods prepared and returned. Ensuring MD Dept of Health standards are followed, along with strict safety standards under Johns Hopkins expectations

Requirements

  • HS diploma, or equivalent, required
  • 1 year related experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary training (graduate of a culinary or technical school) preferred
  • Experience cooking in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
  • Or, experience cooking in an institutional setting
