About The Position

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Food Handler's Certification required (can be obtained upon hire)
• (1) year experience in a behavioral health facility highly preferred
• Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others
• Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Follows production sheets for preparation of current and future meals
• Ensures food presentation is pleasant and food temperatures are appropriate on the serving line and in food storage areas
• Follows published menus and completes substitution schedule when necessary
• Serves patients
• Conducts meal clean-up: ensuring floor is swept, tables and dishes are properly cleaned and mopping is completed
