About The Position

Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors. Performs similar or related duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Current Sothern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
