Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned middle or high school site.
- Assist in other food preparation duties for cafeteria and snack bar operations.
- Maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Work during the summer school at a high school.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Possess a Food Sanitation Certificate.
- Two years experience with cooking and baking food in large quantities.
- Physical capacity to work effectively in a kitchen environment, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work, train, and provide direction to others.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with high volume scratch cooking.
