About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook Lead to oversee daily operations for our food truck. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (food truck experience a plus)
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily food truck operations, including food prep, cooking, and service
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation and taste
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle guest interactions professionally
  • Assist with menu planning and specials as needed
