About The Position

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of related progressive experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Food Handlers Certification as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to focus attention on details
  • Ability to carry up to 20 to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the preparation of food items, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation across all dining outlets.
  • Lead and assist kitchen staff, utilizing previous supervisory experience to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Anticipate needs, evaluate alternatives and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure situations.
  • Clearly convey information and ideas and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Work with financial information and basic arithmetic functions to support kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
