Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 20 pounds
  • Able to work flexible schedule when needed

Responsibilities

  • Flexible schedule
  • Ensures assigned workstation has a proper level of par stocks and supplies based on daily menus and banquets
  • Season food according to recipes and/or Client needs
  • Operates various kitchen appliances such as a food processor, blender, oven, grill and stand mixer
  • Manages portions, arranges, and garnishes food
  • Estimates expected food consumption and, organize preparation
  • Ensures all dishes are prepared and presented according to established standard recipes and presentations
  • Performs banquet and kitchen line functions such as sautéing, grilling, preparing sauces, plating and more
  • Create daily specials
  • Clean and organize workstation, refrigeration and maintains a clean & sanitary culinary environment
  • Understands and complies with all sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Reads, understands, and uses BEOs to create prep lists and then execute accordingly.
  • Sets up and breaks down station including cleaning of equipment and proper storage and labeling of unused products.
