About The Position

As a Cook II at Aqua Aston Hospitality (AAH), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories. You will operate various kitchen equipment and maintain knowledge of food safety programs, ensuring that all food is cooked to the correct temperatures following HACCP guidelines. Your role will also involve preparing ingredients, ensuring proper portioning and garnishing of food, and contributing to a positive guest experience by interacting professionally with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operates ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company food safety programs.
• Cooks all potentially hazardous food to correct temperatures following HACCP guidelines.
• Prepares ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
• Ensures proper portion, arrangement, and food garnishments according to standard.
• Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs.
• Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contributes to team goals.
• Follows company policies and safety procedures.
