Job Summary Prepare and season by various methods large quantities of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, etc. Boil, steam, or fry vegetables and make gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, casseroles, and stews. Prepare and cook family style meals for customers. Use two or more ingredients (not including water) which are weighed, measured, or counted and used in preparation of menu requirements. May also involve storing food, cleaning duties, and serving customers. Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review. Cook food in large quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served. Cut and prepare all varieties of meat, poultry, and fish, and demonstrate the safe operation of tools. Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards. Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.
