About The Position
Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees. The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital. Food & Nutrition Services can be a stepping stone to careers in healthcare. Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in high volume food preparation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and cooks retail and / or patient meals
- Handles food in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Uses food service equipment properly and safely.
- Participates in activities to improve Food and Nutrition services.
