About The Position

Come support Bally's Casino Cafe and Grill by serving guests in a fun friendly environment. While ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeping up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a MUST!
Must possess advanced knife skills, knowledge of all kitchen equipment usage, kitchen safety, and etiquette.
Must place an emphasis on a high level of guest service and give the best service possible

Nice To Haves

One plus years of experience in food service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Expertise to prepare all menu items across all property venues.
Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
Helps with food delivery check in for quality and quantity.
Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items/ingredients.
Ensures all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines.
Opens shifts and prepares the venue for planned volumes.
Coordinates daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
Covers off days for Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
Must lift and move 40-50 pounds.
Must work required shifts, including weekends/holidays
Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
Other duties as assigned.
May be responsible for cashier responsibilities, if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet.
