Be Heard: Share your ideas and help shape the way we work through improvement huddles, employee surveys, and town hall meetings A Day in the Life The Cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include breakfast, lunch, dinner and special/catered events. Responsible for attending all cooks' meetings, and daily communication with managers for special needs or outages. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Food service experience (hospital, nursing home, etc.) desirable.
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education in related culinary field preferred.
