About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Cook II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Cook II you will be responsible for cooking food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time, preparing food, adhering to HACCP guidelines, and following Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 to 4 years hospital food service experience
• ServSafe certification or ability to pass ServSafe within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cooking food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time
• Responsible for preparing food
• Responsible for adhering to HACCP guidelines
• Responsible for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
• Must follow Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning
• Other Duties as Assigned
