Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a PRN opportunity working approximately 2 to 3 evenings shifts through the week and every other weekend. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook working in a restaurant. ServSafe certification is a plus. As a Cook I, you will be responsible for: Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff. Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff Working in a fast-paced environment Taking ownership of their area -- this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers This Cook I will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
