Soaring 32 stories with stunning views of Lake Erie, Hilton Cleveland Downtown is located in the heart of downtown with 600 modern guest rooms and upscale amenities like an indoor pool and rooftop bar. Connected to the Convention Center, it's just steps from Cleveland's key nightlife & entertainment district. The Hilton Cleveland Downtown provides a dynamic and professional setting for team members to grow their hospitality careers. Guests will soon be able to book access to The Club at Hilton, a premium, hosted club designed to elevate guests meet, focus, relax and refuel, featuring elevated dining, curated coffee service and thoughtfully designed areas for quiet work or collaborative conversation. Experience with breakfast preparation and production is highly preferred, as this role plays a key part in supporting The Club’s elevated morning dining offerings. This individual thrives in a premium, guest‑focused setting and understands the importance of consistency, presentation, and refined service. They are flexible, dependable, and able to work independently, supporting the daily culinary operations of this new, private club experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute elevated, high-quality dishes in alignment with The Club’s premium dining standards
  • Support and guide culinary team members, providing direction, training, and oversight during service.
  • Execute breakfast production efficiently, including egg cookery, griddling, and other morning menu techniques
  • Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality, ensuring all menu items meet brand expectations.
  • Coordinate with leadership and service teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow.
  • Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering, and reduce waste through proper rotation and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling, labeling, and cleanliness of all food areas.
  • Work independently when required, demonstrating strong decision-making and time‑management skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
