From game day at PETCO Park to convention crowds next door — our culinary program fuels the show, from big banquets to late-night room service. When you join our culinary team, you’re helping craft unforgettable moments that hit every note — for weddings, rooftop parties, private events, and in-room bites that feel like a backstage pass. 🎸 Your Mission As a Cook I, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes rock star preparing, cooking, and plating dishes for our signature banquets, events, bars, and in-room dining. You’ll work closely with an all-star kitchen team to deliver delicious, high-quality food — no matter the event size or hour.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ year of professional cooking experience in a hotel, catering, or high-volume event setting.
  • Know how to handle prep, cooking, and plating for multiple service styles (banquet, buffet, Ă  la carte, room service).
  • Thrive under pressure and take pride in the details — even during the busiest rush.
  • Love working as part of a tight-knit team that brings energy and positivity to every shift.
  • Have flexible availability, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays — because the Hard Rock never sleeps.

Responsibilities

  • Prep, cook, and present menu items with consistency, speed, and style, following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Keep your station stocked, clean, and ready to roll — whether you’re firing up for a 300-person banquet or a late-night room service order.
  • Support buffet and plated service for large events, coordinating timing with culinary and banquet teams.
  • Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring food quality stays VIP-level from kitchen to plate.
  • Practice top-notch food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness — because the details matter.
  • Jump in to support the team across multiple outlets, helping create a seamless guest experience.
