About The Position

Hours: 40 hrs/wk 530a-2p and 700a-330p with an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation. This position prepares regular and therapeutic diet, hot and cold food items for retail, patient, and catering. Assembles food items according to production sheets under the direction of the Chef, Lead, Manager, or Supervisor. Training will be provided as needed. Requirements

  • Must have kitchen experience
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders.
  • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.

  • Prior food service experience is preferred.
