About The Position

Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a Cook I to join the Culinary! This is an amazing opportunity to grow your career in a Fortune 500 company within a sophisticated luxury brand. As the city's first true luxury hotel and only Forbes recommended hotel in the state, this 23-story tower has 241 rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and in-room dining. We are seeking a highly motivated, culinary‑driven professional with proven experience in high‑volume environments, including both large‑scale banquet operations and restaurant outlets. Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
