About The Position

UNH Dining- Stillings Hall is seeking individual to join our dynamic and diverse team in the Main Kitchen as a Prep Cook. Works under the direction of a Sous Chef or Executive Chef preparing menu items following standardized batch recipes for dining room service. Adheres to all cleaning and safety standards and systems. We hire for attitude and train for skills. Physical Demands Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working with typical commercial kitchen cooking equipment: Kettles Fryolators Charbroiler Griddles Blenders Mixers
