About The Position

The Diplomat Beach Resort is looking for their next Cook I to join their Point Royal Restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be a positive, team-oriented individual with a minimum of 3-5 years of Line Cook experience in high-volume operations. Hotel culinary experience and familiarity with elevated concepts are preferred. This is a union position. This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida. Shift Pattern: Full-Time/ Full availability is required to support early morning, midshift, and evening hours—including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate: $22.80 per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Line Cook experience in high-volume operations
• Hotel culinary experience preferred
• Familiarity with elevated concepts preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
