About The Position

The Cook (Hot Line) at Air Culinaire Worldwide, LLC is responsible for the quality of food ingredients and preparation methods. This role involves preparing various menu items for catering orders, ensuring high culinary standards, and collaborating with team members to meet customer requests. The Cook must adhere to food safety protocols and assist in training new staff while maintaining a productive kitchen environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Current ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days of hire.
• Knife/cutting skills are essential.
• Punctuality and dependability are a must.
• Understanding of cooking techniques is required.
• Good communication skills are necessary.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering companies is required, with a preference for experience in new culinary trends.
• Ability to take orders and work well in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.

• Experience in new culinary trends preferred.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic food and menu items for catering orders based on customer requests.
• Ensure all food preparations and presentations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in the butchering of meats and fish and daily kitchen operations.
• Participate in training and directing new and existing team members.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure preventative maintenance is followed.
• Assist in ordering, inventory, cleaning, grocery shopping, and other duties as assigned.
