Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in high volume food preparation, or equivalent training, preferred, though we are willing to train the right person.
  • Licenses/Certification: "Safe-Serve" manager certification, or willingness to enroll in HACCP training, required.
  • Must be eligible for a Colorado Driver’s License; valid Colorado Driver’s License required within six (6) months of employment and maintained current thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Culinary Director with preparation of meals served in a high quality manner the reflect positively on the department and facility.
  • Serve meals and snacks in a timely manner
  • Assist with required documentation
  • Help with menu planning in order to promote food quality and variety
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, as well as rotation and cleanliness of storage areas
  • Improve professional knowledge and competence by attending educational opportunities requested by Culinary director
  • Help to train new employees
  • Evaluate menu items to ensure proper quantities are served in accordance with requirements
