Responsibilities
- Ensures patient satisfaction and safety of cooked food products by complying with HACCP time/temperature principles.
- Ensures safety precautions in the cook's area.
- Ensures that all foods are at the proper serving temperature prior to service for patient and cafeteria hot food lines.
- Provides suggestions or alternatives to improve the department's service and production goals.
- Prepares food to optimal quality standards utilizing approved standardized recipes to ensure consistency.
