About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team at Ballad Health HCMH in Rogersville, TN. This full-time position offers an opportunity to prepare high-quality food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring that all meals are not only nutritious but also appealing and delicious. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for patients and staff alike, contributing to the overall mission of transforming healthcare experiences through the power of food. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, ensuring that production, delivery, and service schedules are met. You will serve meals with correct portioning, ensuring that food is served at the appropriate temperature and is visually appealing. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning after preparation and serving, and ensuring that all food and supply items are stored properly. You will also assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required, and help with the ordering and receiving of food and supplies. This position requires a commitment to safety and cleanliness, as well as the ability to maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
