About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehab Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Cook for their facility located at 3025 Science Park Drive, Beachwood, OH. This is a full-time position with a compensation range of $16.65 - $19.50 per hour. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges due to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements

• One (1) year cooking experience required.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods for patients, staff, and guests.
• Assist with general cleaning of the cooking and eating areas.
• Supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Manager.
• Ensure adherence to facility and departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow proper sanitation, safety, and infection control policies.
• Accept and understand both verbal and written instructions.
• Provide high quality food preparation and service.
• Clean and maintain equipment to meet department standards.
• Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control.
• Demonstrate a willingness to help with work that needs to be done.
• Take initiative to identify problems and bring about positive solutions.
