Pyramid Healthcare offers integrated behavioral healthcare services in a supportive, recovery-focused environment that empowers individuals to overcome life’s challenges. We are seeking a Part-Time Dietary Worker / Cook to join our dedicated team of behavioral healthcare professionals. This role plays an important part in supporting our clients’ recovery by providing nutritious, safe, and high-quality meals. Position Summary The Dietary Worker is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals in accordance with established policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment and supports food service operations.

Requirements

  • Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
  • ServSafe Certification preferred (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Team-oriented with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to facility menus and dietary guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • Complete required documentation such as food and equipment temperature logs
  • Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
