About The Position

Our Cocineros (Cooks) are at the heart of Felipe’s scratch kitchen. You’ll prepare all hot recipes for the burrito line, ensuring every dish meets our standards for quality, consistency, and freshness. You’ll work closely with Prep Cooks, Kitchen Leads, and the Manager on Duty to keep the kitchen running efficiently and guests satisfied.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with batch cooking or hot line production (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all hot recipes according to Felipe’s standards
  • Calculate batch sizes and cook small batches frequently to maintain freshness
  • Taste food regularly to ensure quality and consistency
  • Stock, rotate, and maintain the hot line throughout service
  • Adjust prep levels based on business volume
  • Follow all food safety, time, and temperature procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and kitchen
  • Communicate inventory needs, par levels, and equipment issues to leadership
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Break down and clean your station at the end of each shift
