About The Position

Benchmark Behavioral Health considers our cafeteria the heart of our program! Our chefs play an essential role providing nutritious and appealing meals to our staff and residents. Benchmark is a residential facility for adolescent boys from all over the country! This is a very fun kitchen job with lots of perks and offers you an opportunity to improve the lives of the boys we serve.

Requirements

• Experience preparing appealing and healthy meals from scratch
• Energetic, creative and driven to provide a superior food experience
• Food Handler Certification
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a cafeteria-style or similar organization is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving scratch made meals to our residents and staff
• Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients
• We serve about 120 (combined residents and staff) people 3 times a day / 365 days a year!
• Checking in food orders, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temp logs, etc.
• Compliance with all regulatory and health department guidelines
