About The Position

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Cook C for Dining Services. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists in the overall cooking operations of a unit. Assists in guiding and instructing cooks helpers, grill attendant, and Dining Service Worker B in the performance of a variety of food items following standardized procedures and schedule.

Requirements

• High school/vocational school education and one year of varied cooking experience in a large volume institutional or restaurant setting or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Ability to pass the Food Handler's Certification.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production work sheets.
