About The Position

Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services. Centennial Peaks Hospital is currently accepting applicants for a Full-Time Cook. This candidate will be responsible for the preparation and serving of patient and staff meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines. Responsible for cleanliness of work area according to dietary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with team members/floor staff and answers the phones with a pleasant tone.
• Assists in maintaining kitchen duties including: cleaning of areas of kitchen, sweeping and mopping the floor thoroughly.
• Cleans the surface of all equipment used including: steamer, stove top, stove back, all ovens, along with walls in back of equipment.
• Adheres to the menu for production and produces enough food to feed all patients & staff.
• Records food in the temperature logbook in accurate and timely manner.
